Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral

Open year round

Inspired from London Architecture

The Holy Trinity Cathedral, built from 1799 to 1804, is located near the Château Frontenac and the Place d'Armes. After the Conquest of New France by the English, the latter had a real need of churches where they could pray. The Holy Trinity Cathedral was among a few that were erected for that reason. On its façade, you can see a colonnade and a tower at the tip of which is an arrow. The bell-tower is exceptionally high and because of it, the Cathedral remained the highest building in the city for several years.
