Located in the western part of Québec City, the former city of Val-Bélair is now part of the Laurentien district, which also comprises the former city of Cap-Rouge and a part of Sainte-Foy. This vast territory, of which the industrial, technological, commercial, agricultural and recreational development is constantly growing, also abounds in green and peaceful spaces. Go to the Base de plein air La Découverte, which enjoys an enchanting site. On the same site is the Observatoire astronomique de La Découverte, which is the first urban observatory of the region. Located at 250 metres of altitude, this observatory allows you to observe the beautiful objects of the sky through the telescope.
