Sentier d'interprétation des Marais du Nord

Open year round

For Outdoor Lovers

Located in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury, only 20 minutes from downtown Québec City, the Marais du Nord are well hidden from the hustle-bustle of the city life, but conspicuous to bird and outdoor lovers. Here, you can observe nearly 160 bird species, including 44 water birds, which live in their natural habitat. The 5 kilometres of paths will reveal beautiful viewpoints on the Saint-Charles Lake and the Huron River.

You can also go on a Rabaska ride with an experienced guide who will teach you about the wildlife, the flora and the history of the area. This site is open year round, so in winter, you can do cross-country skiing and in summer, you can walk along the paths. Whatever the season, the thematic activities will make you discover all the natural wealth of this site.
