L’ange-Gardien, a small country-charm municipality, has many houses and farm buildings scattered along the Chemin du Roy (New-France Road). Some of these stone houses were built two centuries ago and are typical of the ancient French architecture. The Coté, Paré, Gagnon, Mathieu, Ratté, Gariépy and Laberge houses represent the heart of this architectural heritage. Two procession chapels dating back to the 17th century are also located in the middle of the village.
A little farther to the north, in the wooded area of the municipality, Camping Plage Fortier will enchant camping and swimming enthusiasts. Located in the heart of nature, this campground allows you to play baseball, tennis, basket-ball, volley-ball, horseshoe and bowls. You can also cool down in the artificial lake in which there are slides for you to have more fun. The campground odders 300 sites , including some for trailers. You will have access to several services such as water, electricity, sewer, sanitary station and a place where you can buy propane tanks, wood and ice. A community hall, a snack-bar and a convenience store are also at your disposal, and movies are projected on a giant screen in the evening.
