Québec Winter Carnival

From December 30 to February 15, 2009

Celebrate with Bonhomme!

You like snow, cold, winter activities and lively shows? Then Québec Winter Carnival is the winter activity you will not want to miss! This event is the world’s most important winter carnival and offers 17 days of festivities. For the 400th anniversary of Québec City, the two traditional night parades have been completely renewed. They are presented on February 9 and 16: a complete renewal of the floats, 1,200 new costumes, new lighting, multimedia projections, a unique music sound track and much more!

Among other things, Bonhomme invites you to participate in several activities such as the sleigh rides, the snow bath, snow slides, and the Snow sculpture Competition. Come cheer the competitors for the Canoe race on the St. Lawrence River or the Dogsled Race. Above all, do not forget to visit Bonhomme’s ice castle! This is an event for the entire family!
