
Having for mission the discovery and enjoyment of Canada’s military music, the Québec City International Festival of Military Bands offers visitors free outdoor concerts taking place in the historic military sites of Old Quebec. The Festival also welcomes some prestigious military bands from abroad, thus encouraging the exchange between Canadian and foreign musicians to the great pleasure of the public coming each year in great number.
This year, the Festival offers you a great programming comprising around 50 free outdoor concerts,the welcome Ceremony, the Festival Parade, the Concerts du Palais, Québec City Military Tattoo (under the theme of cinema for 2009) as well as 2 family days. It is therefore close to 800 military musicians and participants coming from Germany, the United States, Trinidad and Tobago and Canada that await you for this 11th edition of the Québec City International Festival of Military Bands.
