This traditional site gives you the opportunity to discover the history, the culture and the way of life of the Hurons-Wendat. A Huron guide will give you a tour of the tepee and the long house and will also teach you about the customs of his nation. In summer, the Hurons will even welcome you with a traditional dance!
On the site, you can attend a traditional dance performance, go on a canoe ride in summer or snowshoeing in winter, learn some traditional Amerindian games and visit the arts and crafts boutique. In Wendake, you will also find ancestral houses, a historic chapel, an interpretation centre as well as a restaurant where you will be served traditional meals.
