A Swirl of Activities
The Lairet neighbourhood in the Limoilou district is mainly made with residential streets that are sometimes bordered with boutiques. One of the main attractions in this area is without any doubt ExpoCité. This entertainment centre presents many different activities.
The Centre de foires presents shows and exhibitions of all kinds throughout the year. From outdoor and leisure shows to the Salon du livre and the Auto Show, there is something for everyone. At the Colisée Pepsi, you can attend music concerts for young people as well as for adults.
The new Pavillon de la jeunesse also presents diversified concerts and it has the infrastructure to presents many sports venues. Farther on the site, the Hippodrome is being renovated to present outdoor horse races. The new Ludoplex, for its part, allows game of chance enthusiasts to play in this entertainment centre.
In August, ExpoCité transforms its site to present Expo Québec. For nearly 100 years now, inhabitants and visitors of the city come for a constantly renewed celebration. Let’s have some fun!
