The Quebec International of Sacred Music bring sacred music to as large a public as possible, without any religious or linguistic barriers or restrictions on styles. From September10 to 18, 2011, the Festival celebrate his 15th anniversary with great artists and concerts as Gregory Charles and the Chamber Choir of the Collège vocal de Laval, Natalie Choquette, the High Mass of Gilles Vigneault and Bruno Fecteau, the Paul McCartney’s Oratorio, Irshad Khan, and more! The Festival offers musical forms inspired by spirituality, from here and elsewhere, from times gone by to today, performed by artists from all around the world. Through their art, they express all the soothing and stirring powers of sacred music. All the concerts take place at St. Roch Church in Quebec City, with the exception of the concert of Sunday, Sept. 18th, which takes place at Holy Trinity Cathedral. Several free concerts will be presented outdoors and at various historic religious sites. The Festival also invites you to discover some religious arts treasures.
