
The Maison Girardin is an interpretation centre which mission is to make you discover the history and heritage of Beauport, one of the oldest French communities of the region. This French-inspired house was built before 1807 and was put on the historical register in 1977. It was inhabited by the Girardin family until 1925 and it now presents permanent exhibitions on the historical district of Beauport and its families of origin. Guided visits are also offered, as well as multimedia activities.
